Does not work in latest version of Windows Edge

I have a web application that works perfectly in Chrome, and also earlier versions of Edge. However, in the latest version (15), I get this error:

"FATAL ERROR

<xml url> - xml parsing failed!"


Anyone else seen this as well? Happens both on my locals and in Browserstack.

Hope someone can help me out here

Hi,

there can be several reason - either the xml itself is really invalid (try opening the xml itself in Edge) or there is a loading error only in Edge and the browser returns a wrongly-configured html error page that gets parsed as xml.

But it works fine in earlier versions of Edge, simply not the latest version. I am experiencing this on all computers I have tried it.

There is something with the latest version that makes krpano not work.

Hi,

which Edge version do you mean?
I'm currently testing with the version 15063 (the latest stable) and don't have problems with it...

Have you already checked/tested the xml url in Edge?

it seems the server itself is the problem - it delivers that url with the wrong mime type (that means not as xml file):
