removelayer container

When removing a container layer (removelayer(mycontainer)) it doesn't removes layers inside the container.
Could be cool to remove everything inside too ?

But the container is not really persé a container in this way.
It is just a layer but not textfield or graphic.

The ...> blabla </layer>
Makes it nested layers. No need for layer type container.

What would be nice is
removelayernest(nestparentlayername);

Hi,

in the next 1.19 version (should be also already in 1.19-pr3) the removelayer() actions supports a second parameter 'removechildren' - when it will be set to 'true', then all children elements will be automatically removed too.

Best regards,
Klaus

Hi Klaus,

there seems to be a problem with the second placeholder to remove all children elements .. the problem is only in IE windows 11.
removing the children separate fixed the problem.

EDIT: after the removehotspot(bla, true); i do directly a zoomto action.
It looks like IE doesn't clean up all child layers fully.
In this particular case this hotspots has 3 child layers.. Maybe because i say remove hotspot, it doesn't clean the layers?

Yes - the removehotspot action doesn't support removing children layers yet - see:
