vertical display on smartphone

Hi,

I wish to keep the display on the screen of smartphone in vertical position independently of the position of the device. How can I make it?

Best regards,
Hubert

Hi,

krpano currently provides locking the screen orientation only in the WebVR plugin (enabled by default, but only usable in the browsers where the browser APIs are supported):
https://krpano.com/plugins/webvr/#mobilevr_orientationlock

But if you want you can try locking the screen orientation by custom JS code.
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs…lockOrientation
https://w3c.github.io/screen-orientation/

Here a simplified example for Android Chrome (locking will be only possible in fullscreen mode):

Quellcode

1
2
3
<events name="screenlock" keep="true"
   onenterfullscreen="jscall( screen.orientation.lock('landscape'); );"
  />

Best regards,
Klaus

Good evening Klauss,

I thought I could make a responsible, « mobile » variant of my web site which works thanks to the KRPano (www.annecypanoramique.com). On iPhone, a part of screen always remains reserved for its menu. According to the model, and the orientation, it is allways a different part of the screen. Locking the orientation in « portrait » mode for all "mobile" devices would make the design possible.
Best regards,
Hubert
