Side menu? menu options

Hello Piotr,

Can you advise if possible to add side menu or update menu and logo template easily with VT Builder?

ideally i would like something that looks like the attached.

Some questions

Hi Piotr,

Just a few questions about default Template (I think it's Umbrella):

• Is it possible to use animated hotspots? I really need them to point to active POI that are Livepano Flying objects.
• In VR mode, all ambient sounds are visible! It's confusing and totally useless for viewer since sounds are already playing...
• How to set categories open on load?
• How to set navigation panel closed on load?

Hi

There is a new version (v1.4) Umbrella template for Virtual Tour Builder .

news:

1. FIX bug with ambient audio hotspots in the VR mode - it's not showing now
thanx kagool for bug raport *thumbup*

2. new settings in the settings.xml file:
open_panoindex_onstart BOOL - open the panoindex for the start of the project - false is default
hide_navipanel_onstart BOOL hide the navigation panel for the start of the project - false is default
poi_to_pano_style - popup to new scene style (normal or circle) - 'normal' is default *w00t*

i have inserted in tour.xml doesnt work. The menu stayes in the middle, i tried different positions but nothing moved.
I tried also clearing the cache but no luck!

Umbrella update

Hi Piotr,

Thanks for the update. It works like a charm but I have some new issues.

1 - Active category is not underlined as before.
2 - VR POI text are now hard to read due to the glow effect.
3 - Central plus button (toggle open menu) is vertically lower and hidden by categories if you start with them opened.

I did that you can control the height of this button yourself. There is a new property in settings.xml: vertical_y_bottom_menu_open_ico
You can change this if you want.

Thank you for you quick reply.

I'm developer too, so I know that it's not always easy to track bugs. ;-)

Concerning the y position of central icon menu, I have checked it before posting my question.
The fact is that I can't find it... Maybe I'm just to tired. :-/

On the another hand, I noticed that you can not remove a lector file with VT Builder. Of course, it's easy to fix on xml itself.

Maybe I will contact you by pm to introduce myself and asking if you are interested to license your plugin to thousands of potential buyers.

Currently yes. The Umbrella is now a default template therefore the news is implemented first to it. But if you want I will try to add VR (text, photo, audio) to the Spartacus template as well.

Hi Piotr,

I saw the new setting on the new version. I was confused believing that this setting exists before. :-)

A poi_photo_width would be handy too if user want to limit size of light box.

Concerning the problem of poi video in vr mode, I saw that you answered on another thread saying that webgl can not support iframes.

It's possible. I used to have it on some projects developed under threejs. But on VT Builder case I don't how difficult it is to implement.

I tried to use animated hotspots like those that are on Krpano example package. https://krpano.com/examples/119/krpano.h…anihotspots.xml
But it seems that something is missing or conflicting with some variable or function and animation do not start.

When I try to add flor plan both in jpg and png format nothing happens.
I have floorplans folder inside my tour.

Problem solved. Edge and IE were caussing it. Its working fine on Chrome.

Hy Piotr,

i have several questions for the umbrella template:

link to the tour: http://ginger.threesixty.at/

• how to remove the maps (navigation) icon in the right upper corner?
• how to prevent zooming in the tour?
• how to change the buttons in vr mode to the normal used ones?
• what is the heart symbol on the left under the logo doing?

• on ipad we get:

1	ERROR: plugin[navi_fullscreen_ico] - style not found: navi_fullscreen_ico

• in normal web browser we get:

1	ERROR: hotspot[vtb_z] - loading of 'panos/Eingang.tiles/preview.jpg' failed!

1	ERROR: loading of 'panos/2Salon.tiles/b/l3/3/l3_b_3_4.jpg' failed!

Edit: on this I noticed the original file is in 'panos/1Eingang.tiles/preview.jpg'! the "1" before "Eingang" is lost...... strange?
I did a workaround and created this path additional, no it were found.

how can we solve that?

btw: your plugin is very nice, we love it! we just have to learn more in depth how to use the different functions ;-)

You can change the graphics any time.
