reverse tiling?

Dear Klaus,

is there any way (not saying it has to be at the push of a button), to reverse multires tiling? In other words, if I have all the tiles for the panorama, and I know the exact settings used when creating the multires data, is it possible to reverse-engineer the source image somehow?

Hi,

yes - first take these information from the xml:
tilesize, tiledimagewidth/tiledimageheight and the url from the largest level

and then call the krpano 'maketiles' with these information:
https://krpano.com/tools/kmaketiles/#retile

- use the 'url' path a first parameter (adjusted to the current path of course)
- the 'tilesize from xml in the -intilesize=### setting
- and the tiledimagewidth/tiledimageheight sizes in the -insize=WWWWxHHHH setting

And do that every cube-side separately.
