Performance with 10.000+ hotspot

Hi all. I have problem when creating a gigapixel panorama with 10.000+, it's very slow. The hotspots a saved in a database.
I'm using php, get all hotspots and general to xml file ( ~ 5MB).
I want to show only the hotspots which are in the viewable section of my panorama and on a certain zoom-level.

Anyone tell me best way to resolve this issue?
