lesflare plugin VR trouble

has anyone had any difficulties viewing the lensflare in VR mode on a samsung s6 android mobile phone ?

it appears as normal in regular pano' mode on the phone and also with gyro' enabled, but when I switch into VR on the phone it disappears.

it also shows up fine in the same tour in simulated VR mode on the desktop.

any ideas ???

Hi

The reason is simple. The lensflares puts a lot of strain on the CPU and graphics. Older smartphones have too little computing power and they lags. This completely destroys the immersion in the VR-mode.

ah ok.

so it should still be seen if played on a more up to date smartphone such as the s8 or s9 perhaps ?

It must do automatically. On the new top smartphones, the lens works very well. But how do you check the name of the device? I can check a lot of data but no such data. JavaScript generally doesn't have access to this personal identifying data.

I am open to suggestions.
