More and More problems with Chrome And WebGL....

Recently, i noticed that WebGL gets disabled by some Chrome updates

This happened on many of my clients browsers.

So i wonder :

-why some users get their Chrome update Ok with WebGL and others don't?

-why on some browsers, even if i type in about:flags and get sure every WebGL items is enabled the Flash or WebGL error still pops when loading a tour?

B est regards

here the list of the GPUs that Chrome is blocking:…ering_list.json

When you know the affected system you can search there for details/reasons.

To disable that, open this url in Chrome and enable the 'Override software rendering list' setting:

For the 'why' please ask Google!

Btw - even when Chrome is blocking the GPU, Firefox, Edge and Safari are often still working fine.

So it could be helpful to customize the 'error' message (using the onerror callback of the embedding function) and tell the user to either to edit that Chrome setting or use an other browser...
