Function passQueryParameters

Hi,
Something has changing is the passQueryParameters ?
Using this code :

Source code

1
if (s !== null, if (startscene === null OR startscene === "undefined", set(startscene, get(s));); );    if (startscene === null OR startscene === "undefined",      set(startscene, intsos360tour1),      ;    );

The variable "s" is not found, did this function change between the two version of krpano ?Adding this :

Source code

1
    trace('variable=', startscene);        showlog();

I have always "intsos360tour1" as result
For exemple :

In the new version with new .js all links arrives in the same tour intsos360tour1 (there is 6 tour : 1,2,3,4,5,6)
coming from http://35.177.4.43/virtualtour.html
http://35.177.4.43/internationalsos360tour.html#s=intsos360tour4
same than http://35.177.4.43/internationalsos360tour.html#s=intsos360tour1

With the krpano 1.19.pr8 the function working
coming from http://internationalsos360.com/virtualtour.html
http://internationalsos360.com/internationalsos360tour.html#s=pano10
different than http://internationalsos360.com/internationalsos360tour.html#s=pano13
Thanks

Hi,

krpano doesn't support using the 'hash' character '#' for passing parameters! (although older version accidentally did - see here in the 1.19-r15 release notes the note about the related change/fix).

Only the 'query' character '?' is supported.

See your url:
.../internationalsos360tour.html#s=intsos360tour1

correct would be:
.../internationalsos360tour.html?s=intsos360tour1

Best regards,
Klaus

Hi Klaus,

Thanks, it's working fine.
For information, this script came from Panotour pro templates...I tried to export some projects with the last version and they still use #.

Regards,
Jérôme

Hmm... so far I know all krpano documentation and examples were for '?' query parameters, so when PTP is using '#' that's not that good of course...

And supporting the # hash key is also not that good, because can it interfere with anchor links (e.g. anchor link names would get passed to krpano as variables).

I will think about a solution...

Best regards,
Klaus
