krpano completely on webserver

Hello,
I'm interested in the krpano software and I want to work with it programming wise. I am by no means a professional but I think it is fun to work with it combined with php.
So my question is: does any one know how this https://impress.pcon-solutions.com/ is made possible? When the website gets your uploaded picture and executes the krpano script there will be many files on there server? Or do they make that only temporary and delete the files after?

Or: is it possible to run krpano (normal panorama or even vtours) entirely on a webserver?
This interests me and I am looking forward to your answers. *smile*

Thanks for your patience.

PHP => exec oder shell_exec
