This is certainly a lot of work ... Would there have been no way to make easier for the visitor who arrives? No "break everything", it seems to me that removing the zoom "more or less" who does nothing in this case, I'd be limited to a fov "average" that does not disturb the visitor, who gives a good picture and now, everyone is happy. The zoom for me is the horror, there is always distortion of the image and as a photographer, I disapprove.
Never forget that virtual tours to the general public and the goal is that it does not question, or the minimum because we live in a world of busy people! We are all tempted, as photogaphy and infogaphistes, to always make too much out of fear over what others photogaphy. But that we do not care, what matters is the simplicity and intuitive side of things vis-à-vis the general public because they are the ones who see us and judge us by others.
I preached in the void I know and I could be compromised by excess of zeal!
Someone said recently on the forum (in English) that he must return to simplicity, I think he's right.
That said, it's a good job, but remember that the whole world is supposed to look at us! I think (with my little head) that the Internet we are grateful for their offer of things available in one click and then basta!
A judge among others, willingly accept criticism or ruling that would counter. My decision relates only to the way forward, not shooting.
My * smile *
