dizzy

I have an object movie in a textfield on top of a pano when I move the mouse everything moves. the object turns and the pano spins. I'd like to just have the object spin with the mouse.
How is that possible ?

a 360panorama.swf in a textfield works as expected i.e the pano in the textfield and the background pano behave independently. the same code but an objectmovie.swf instead of the 360panorama and they are linked together. the mouse only works outside of the textfield and it moves both object and background. I'm quite close to having something useable so I would be interested in a solution.

Hi,

can you show an example?

maybe disabling the mouse control on mouse down and enabling on mouse up helps... ?

e.g.

Quellcode

1
2
3
4
<plugin ...
      	ondown="set(control.usercontrol,off);"
      	onup="set(control.usercontrol,all);"
      	/>

edit: "usercontrol" instead of "mousetype"

Klaus

Hi,

it seems the object movie also listens for stage mouse movements,

that means it is not possible to disable the object rotate when moving in the pano,
but it would be possible to disable the movement in the pano while rotating the object,

e.g.

Quellcode

1
2
3
4
5
<plugin ...
      	ondown="set(control.usercontrol,off);"
      	onup="set(control.usercontrol,all);"
      	capture="false"
      	/>

when the mouse is pressed down on the object, the pano control will be disabled,
and when releasing the mouse button it will be enabled again,

and with - capture="false" - it will be possible to move the mouse when pressed on the object,

e.g. here is a "direct" link with that changes to your example:
http://www.panagito.com/wp-content/libra…].capture=false

best regards,
Klaus

wouldnt using freezeview(true); when opening the textfield and freezeview(false); when closing prevent the pano from spinning?

I'm trying to get the object movie transparent. object2vr and vrworx don't seem to do it. I got something from flashden but I can't get to grips with it so far and aren't getting much response. I don't know flash yet but I can make a loop of the shoe as a transparent movie :-)
How hard can it be to turn that into an object movie ?
Any of you expert flash guys want to tell me how ?
as if to a 5 year old ?

Hi,

I see, it seems that the object movie changes the scale settings of the flash stage...
(a tip - wait for beta 9 then you can show object movies with krpano )

btw - great homepage!

Hi Klaus,

thanx!
i think i have to clean up the code a bit but the idea is full krpano website... gonna play a bit more with flash and maybe dive into scenes..

Do you have a term on the new beta??

Will it also be possible to have multiple photogallery's in it and maybe such as thickbox??

Cheers..

well..

check my homepage... go to "meer voorbeelden" in the menu and then the 3th thumbnail...

that's thickbox... on my mac it works fine but on pc not... ( the top line where you can close it is gone (?) but VN2009 has no problems...

It is a new brouwser window over the old one but it looks like you stay in the tour.. and it is a nice way to use external links in the tour..The side's get transparent black... Doesn't work fullscreen though..

I saw somebody somewhere on the net that had 'fresh' (streaming or so) (external) information in his textfield... can't find it back..
was not krpano though..

I hope we get a nice solution for these things.

Thanks for the good work and reaction..

Cheers

Tuur *thumbsup*

I'm still not sure
is the thickbox a flash plugin or an html element?

Hi,

It seems it is a Javascript. Look at this post from Job.1 call a thickbox from the xml file .

Salut.

Hi,

thanks, okay,

in this case - maybe it's just the "wmode" setting that is missing the html:

Quellcode

1
so.addParam("wmode","opaque");

best regards,
Klaus
