Zoom ScrollArea with touch possible?

I want to zoom a scrollarea using touch. Is that possible.

No, it's not possible a least yet.

There is a custom solution, like here

It's functional but requires some deep code diving

I've played with that code and while it works well with a single layer, things get funky in a scrollarea. I think the problem is that while scrollarea will capture touch, it doesn't seem to capture gestures (using two fingers). That passes through to the pano below. Further investigation may still yield results, though. Too bad the solution isn't baked in.
