Hotspots over a static architectural plan

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to create a VR tour, that has a series of hotspots positioned over a static architectural plan image? The idea would be to click on each on any of the hotspots, that would positioned over a certain room, and then show that room as a 360 pano image, and then return to the architectural plan image.

If anyone has any ideas or examples, please help.

Hi,

i made a very simple bare bone example.
Used part of the idea a few years ago.

not sure if this is what you want/need though..
it works in vr headsets, at least in my Oculus GO it does..
but not on mobile phone ( or a-like) because of the gaze.

Nice job, Tuur.

But it appears you have encrypted the XML so it won't serve well as a teaching tool if that is what you intended.

I am working on something similar where the floor plan hotspot atv and ath are dynamically set when opening to match the current gaze or perhaps the current ath and set atv to 0. Plan hotspots are set relative to that.
