Unwanted hover triggered

Hello,

I changed the vtourskin.xml and put an arrow to show/hide the thumbnails. Everything works great, except that when I click on the arrow to show the thumbnails, it triggers the hover on the thumbnail just behind, which I don't want.

Video of what I'm talking about here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTEzmyMGYpk&feature=youtu.be

Does everyone have a simple idea of how I can do ? *whistling* Thanks a lot

when your thumbs slide upwards under the mouse pointer, the hover event is triggered.
that is how it is supposed to work.

if you dont want the tooltips on the thumbs at all, you can set

Quellcode

1
<skin_settings tooltips_thumbs="false" />

I do want the tooltips on the thumbs, but only if the user decided to hover them.

The ideal case would be this one :
I click on the button, the thumbs appear but not the hover, and if I move the mouse again then the hover will works.

Is there a way I can wait for the user to move its mouse and only then set the hover again ?

how would you imagine the logic?

wait a time to show the tooltips ?
disable the tooltip on the first (accidentially hit) thumb? but what if you want to know that name?

my 5 cents: it is totally fine like it is :)

In general I am with indexofrefraction. *thumbup*

But wouldn't it be possible to check, if the thumbs-bar is tweening and suppress the tooltip while it is tweening?
Of course, it would be a workaround, not a perfect solution. ;-)

So it is something like "remove the hover-effect for tooltips dynamically and add it after tweening (and remove again if the bar is hidden again)."
