That problem in 1.20.9 is fixed now!

There is new build online, but still with the same version number, check for 'build 2020-11-15' for the new release.

There are only these two changes/fixes compared to the first 1.20.9 build from 2020-11-12:
  • The hotspot onover event wasn't working in VR mode in 1.20.9.
  • Support the iPhone Fullscreen Mode also on other iPhone browsers that support out-scrolling the url bar (e.g. Firefox, Edge, DuckDuckGo, OperaTouch).

Hi,

there is another new relase for version 1.20.9: build 2020-11-19

It fixes these problems:
  • Crash in the maketiles tool (report).
  • Scale of non-zoomed/non-distorted hotspots in VR (report).
  • Problems with the iPhone fullscreen mode and WebVR in non-Safari browsers like iOS Edge and iOS Firefox.
  • Depthbuffer accuracy problems on Mac Safari when using depthmap panos and postprocessing filters.

limitview different from previous version - SOLVED

Hi, I use limitview to limit my unpatched nadir.

Here is the same picture in 1.20.8 and the same in 1.20.9.

I need to block the view like in 1.20.8.
Any workaround for 1.20.9??

this change was intentional - in the previous version the bouncing limits setting was always set automatically by the vtourskin.xml depending on the current viewing limits. And the problem with that 'automatic' was, that it was not possible to manually set a different behavior for a scene.

Now each <scene> contains its own setting in the xml and so allows manual adjustments:

Hi Klaus, seems there is still a little bug in very specific condition ;)
If you set stagescale then ox and oy is not scaled in webvr for hotspots that are not distorted or zoom; it was correct with build 2020-11-12.

when i try to lauch them on mac i have a security message that says Mac cannot verify the identity of the developper ans theres no way to lauch them...

someone encountered this?

The tour_testingserver_macos executable is not signed, so it doesn't have a developer identity.

But that was always the case and is intentional. That file is considered for free publishing and when it might got misused and the developer id be revoked by Apple, this would be a problem.

That means either run it by right-click or from terminal or if you are a Mac developer code-sign the file yourself.

wait(LOAD)

Hi Klaus,

Please note that the current wait(LOAD) action does not work as worked in 1.19-pr16.
I used it in my obj360 tour
Now the krpano ver. 1.20.7, 1.20.9 freezes the tour at all.
Any work around?

I found a hotspot problem

When the hotspot A 'distorted = true', the layer B 'align = center', the layer C 'align = lefttop'.A is B's parent,and B is C's parent.It's about 180 degrees，a copy of layer C will appear.you can click on，but not visible.


I extracted part of the code to generate the example.

That could be done using image-editor-software, enlarge the image-canvas and insert the alpha-channel as grayscale side-by-side image.

What exact behavior do you mean? When quickly testing your tour it seems to work...
Generally I would recommend avoiding the usage of the wait(), it's mainly a leftover from very old versions. In old versions it was blocking just everything and that was highly problematic of course. Now it depends where it was called what will happen.
