Question about example makescreenshot

Hi,
How to save to specific folder and specific filename?

Example: "room-1.jpg" (in "house" folder) instead "screenshot1.jpg"

I know about the restriction of the browsers. But Is it possible? How?

Thanks,
Fdo

Hi,

not in the browsers today.

Maybe in future with the 'File System Access API', but even there probably only after the user had selected manually the folder with a dialog:
https://web.dev/file-system-access/

Best regards,
Klaus

Hi, thanks.

Working offline, with NW.js it is possible (see attachment).

There is other question: How to set the %VIEWER% directory as default to save in this case?

Thanks very much for your help.

Hi,

sure, with tools like NW.js or Electron you can have file-system access (that's why I wrote 'in the browsers' ;-)).

For resolving placeholders like %VIEWER% the parsepath function can be used:
https://krpano.com/docu/plugininterface/#parsepath

but that gives you the server-paths, not the local-file-systems ones of course.

Best regards,
Klaus
