mask google maps plugin

I want to mask the plugin so it appears small on screen and on rollover I tween the scale of the mask to show more of the map, however with the mask you can't intereact with the map.

Any ideas how I would do that?

Hi Klaus,

I should have said I already tried that, clicking and dragging the map just moves the pano.

Perhaps it's to do with the zorder, I'll play with that.
