ispaused

I did a test and the value of the "ispaused" attribute does not change when using the "togglepause" action

In the test I output this attribute to the console:
trace(ispaused=, hotspot[videoplayer].ispaused);
*confused* *question*

This is an example
This is the code from the example:

Quellcode

1
2
3
4
5
6
<hotspot name="videoplayer"  url.html5="%FIRSTXML%/plugins/videoplayer.js"  videourl="hesaudio.mp3" 	/>

<hotspot  name="hs" url="%FIRSTXML%/Audio.png"
          onclick="hotspot[videoplayer].togglepause();
                   trace(ispaused=, hotspot[videoplayer].ispaused);"
     />

When you click on the hotspot, the ispaused (true/false) parameter should change, but this does not happen. What Could be the problem? *confused*

Why use a video plug-in to play music?
Why not use audio plug-ins? ?

Why use a video plug-in to play music?
Why not use audio plug-ins? ?
so you can track the time and make a timeline. But this is not relevant to the
"ispaused" question - does not change the value when there is a stop or playback

ispaused is fine, you're just checking it too fast :

Quellcode

1
2
          onclick="hotspot[videoplayer].togglepause();
                   delayedcall(0.25,trace(ispaused=, hotspot[videoplayer].ispaused));"

Hi indexofrefraction, thank you for the answer, but I checked and it does not work even if you set a delay of 1 sec. I updated in the example

Quellcode

1
delayedcall(1,trace(ispaused=, hotspot[videoplayer].ispaused));

This worked well until version 1.19-pr16

hm yes.. that seems strange...
i also use the videoplayer but here this does not happen. i just checked. the delayedcall was not needed
your krpano is 1.20.7 and your player from 1.20.8, maybe that is the problem.
or klaus has an idea, but right now he is celebrating christmas *smile*

I installed version 1.20.9 and the player from that version.
This does not work when playing mp3. But it works when playing a video file.

Previously, they also worked when playing audio files *sad*

It is not recommended to use the outdated version,
The outdated version has BUG,
And most of the users are using the latest version

<hotspot  name="hs" url="Audio.png"
	  onclick="hotspot[videoplayer].togglepause();

Hi,

i confirm.
in 2015 i made this plugin, audio player, with playlist, using the video player.
It still works fine on 1.19.pr5 (offline)
Unfortunately today, 1.20.9, the ispaused always gives true.. with audio only indeed.
I hope Klaus can sort this out.

Tuur *thumbsup*

Yes, this used to work with audio files and videos. Now it works with video files correctly. This problem is only with audio files, but it may be correct, because it is still a video player.
