hi all,

been searching for posts without much success until i found the info i was missing in the videoplayer page
RTMP Video Streaming (rtmp:// urls) - Flashplayer only
HTTP Live Streaming (.m3u, .m3u8) - iOS, Mac Safari only - and only for <layer> usage

is this info still up do date?
i was wondering if it was possible to stream a 360 video in all devices from a 2:1 videostream (or 16:9)

can't i see it in a windows pc in html5?

since there are no answers...
is there any software that plays a 360 live stream other than youtube or facebook?
i'd like to have more control of it
