3D Sound broken in Safari

After playing for a few minutes playsound_at_hv breaks up into loud crackling and then silence in Safari on desktop and iOS. It works fine in Firefox.

I am using the latest KRPano 1.20.9, MacOSMojave 10.14.6, latest iOS. Have tried with different sound files (3 mins long, looping) and computers.
Had to revert to good old HTML5-VR Audio Plugin which still works fine in Safari.
Any ideas how to fix this or is it a bug?

3D Sound broken in Safari Update

After further investigation it appears all 3D Sound is broken in Safari, eventually it all breaks up.
Have not tested streamsound.
