Mouse wheel speed different on different browsers

Hello,
I've found out that Chrome has much faster zoom comparing to Firefox and Edge.
How to equalize the speed?

Maybe just to set different values for mousefovchange for different devices in control settings?

Kind Regards!

Hi,

what krpano version do you use? *confused*

I ask because since version 1.20 the mouse wheel speeds are already the same in all browsers!

Best regards,
Klaus

Maybe because it's a partial panorama?

Hi,

what browsers/systems and mouses have you tested?

For me the mouse wheel zooming speed is the same, tested now on Windows Firefox, Chrome and Mac Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

Best regards,
Klaus

I've tested with Firefox, Chrome and Edge on Windows 8.1 and Firefox and Chrome on Windows 10
mouse model: A4Tech Bloody V3 and hama urage illuminated
By now Chrome and Edge are 70% faster than Firefox.

But it's strange that as I can remember the difference was bigger when I decide to post on the forum.

Kind Regards!

Hi,

for me it's the same in all browsers and systems, but there can be still differences of course.

Especially Firefox provides slightly different wheel data and that also depending on the mouse model, e.g. if the wheel is stepwise or stepless and if the mouse driver eventually also applies acceleration. For normalizing also these differences, the browsers currently don't provide enough data.

Best regards,
Klaus
