How To Embed 3D Models & Objects with Interactivity

Hello all, I hope this is the correct section for this question. I have reviewed several "Old" threads on this subject, but nothing really new, or any new solutions or plugins.

Is there an easy way to add a 3D object inside a krpano tour that allows interactivity, especially inserting a Sketchfab annotation type experience like this thread ? It seems nobody answered that question, and that is precisely what I am looking for :)

An example of what I am looking for is like adding a Wine bottle inside a tour, like this one from Sketchlab https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/classic-…6421b5579717938

Is this possible? Can they be interactive such as zooming in, spinning the object around with mouse/finger etc?

Transparent Background?

Thank you thank you spacerywirtualne! Ok, I'll have to give this a try. Do you know what the final result will be? WIll it be a free standing 3D model (Transparent) or will there be a background like there is in Sketchfab?

Sketchfab 3D Object inserted successfully - Now Lets Go Further?

Ok so we were able to create a floating bottle with a call to action that pops open a Sketchfab viewer of the 3D object, you can see it here https://www.skynav360.com/clients/deldot…caveprivateroom

But how to we bypass Sketchfab, and just insert the bottle, with fly out annotations? Is this just beyond what krpano can do? I wish there was a solution to do this...

Thoughts?

Hi @Piotr, is it possible to do something like this in Panotour Pro? I know, this is the place for krpano, but in the end Panotour is still alive because of Claus' great support! Second question ist the same as @tydowning in 2019: But how to we bypass Sketchfab?

Hi nina28
Hi @Piotr, is it possible to do something like this in Panotour Pro?
Here an example of how you can make a popup window.

Zitat

But how to we bypass Sketchfab?

For this you can use this method.

Hi Piotr,

thanks for the examples - i will give them a try. *thumbsup* I have now idea if this would work with Panotour Pro!?
I think i have to describe in more detail... my idea was to embed an 3D Model, for example a sculpture, including the interactivity
(change the view on to the model by mouse drag).

In this moment i try to embed the original sketchfab 'Embed Viewer' in one of my popup boxes.

Thanks a lot so far...

Hi,

Use the structure like this exemple : https://krpano.com/releases/1.20.11/exam…pthmap-textured
you need the .obj and texture.
i work like this : https://www.damienlachas.com/multimedia-…rie-beaujolais/

you can't have hotspot, but layer yes.

3d model of a Mountain

Very Interesting. I would love to have a 3d model of a Mountain with interactive hotspots over the model. Any way to accomplish this yet?
Any way to get this in Panotour Pro?

Many thanks!

Hi,

For me it's impossible with krpano for the moment.
I hope it in next release too. Maybe...

The best way is a 3d framework in javascript, like three.js.

I don't have Panotour but i think is dead !

Best regards,

Damien
