This is a question that I get from time to time, so I decided to make a post about that.

In the initial versions of everpano 3D, we could not just use big images directly, or even tif files, that's why I was implementing a workflow in case some users wanted to be working with high quality panoramas for producing 3d projects.

Now this is not the not the case anymore, you can just drop any image any format, JPG, PNG, PSD, PSB, TIF, ... and not only this but it can be of any size, just keeping in mind that every format has its own limitations.

So that's the reason why now everpano 3D is not having this feature anymore.

I think that one of the main confusions points, was that some users were thinking that the import was meant to be, to import full krpano projects with all the features they could have coded and not the image it self, and of course that was never the case.
