Yes, this is build into an encrypted file. But i think i understand why you want to change it.
If you want to run another timeline you can call: RunMovingHotspots(2);
The number here calls the timeline to run and the parameters that belong to it:
-speed
-skript
-keyframes (timeline xml)
-trackinhhotspot (the hotspot)
- ignore alpha
- ignore scale
- ignore rotation
... and some

Don't forget also to call the ClearTimelines action to stop a timeline. This happens automatically on scene change but i suppose you play with the 'crop' thing.

If you don't manage what you want, please let me know in PM and then we can go from there.
I 'll think about and test the whole thing to see if it is needed to get this out of the encryption in an update.

I am not familiar with DaVinci resolve, but the idea is not too complex.
We made a script and little tool for After effects.
In the end the script outputs an ready to use xml with an array that holds some basic values a certain times per second.

I am not sure if you can make davinci resolve to run a custom script to execute and save data to xml and also to make a little custom tool.

The array looks like:


name/id
ath atv
scale
alpha
rx/ry/rz

with the little tool you can choose how often per second you need an array line. It really depends on the video content what is needed.
Often twice a second is enough but 24 times a second can also be a option.

So.. if you are capable to do such with dvr feel free to send me an pm or email and we can discuss this a bit.
I can not help you with the dvr side though.
