Where is VIEWLIMITS declared?

Hi,
the variable VIEWLIMITS is been used in vtour_viewtemplate.xml as follows:

<view hlookat="[HLOOKAT]" vlookat="[VLOOKAT]" fovtype="MFOV" fov="120" maxpixelzoom="20.0" fovmin="0" fovmax="180" [VIEWLIMITS]/>


The value is limitview="auto".

Where is this been defined? Is this hard-coded constant from krpanotools.exe? Hence, this is the only place, where i found a reference with this default value.

Hi,

it's here defined:

For normal (360x180) panos the value will be always limitview="auto",
but partial panos will get limitview="range" and h/vlookatmin/max values for the current image size.

Thanks. I believe this is the answer. The logic if limitview is "auto", "range" etc.. comes hardcoded from the programm?
And can be overwritten with: https://krpano.com/docu/tools/config/#xmltemplate
