Endless virtual tour (including aerial panoramas)

Hi,

As being new to this forum i'll first introduce myself:

I am Frank, located in the Netherlands, doing mainly aerial photography (with kites) for about 3 years. This year i have started doing aerial panoramic photography.

As a parttime webdevelloper i have quite some experience with PHP, Mysql, etc. Bought a license for Krpano a few months ago, it is amazing and easy to work with!

At the moment i do not have any commercial intentions, and i am building a site to show my work to friends and other interested people. The aim is to create a place where i can publish my work in an environment where navigation is easy and all panoramas are linked in space. There is an overview page where a selection of panoramas can be made, when a panorama is clicked this same selection is shown in a tour with the panoramas linked with hotspots showing heading and distance. A panorama is easily added to the site, by just uploading the image files and giving a few parameters (lat, lon, heading etc).

Have a look at http://pano.aircatcher.com/

Please feel free to comment on anything!

Hi frank,

Great!

i also like something like this as an extra in my site structure..

for me the hotspots are quite dominant in the view..
do you also make a picture up or did you photoshop the zenith...?
if not maybe make a sot from the sky, from the ground up, just after the arial seesion.

nice kite pics.. let's talk/meet

Cheers

Great aerial panos! I have a few that I'm going to shoot from an rc helicopter in the spring when everything is green again.

Congratulation, good job. I don't have time and enought competences to do it, but at a time I was working on a project like it.

Go on
