Tuur
very clever
It was great fun to make.
The game it self is code only, so no graphics.
Your 2nd price pano is the one with big wall print and the panoramic lamps, i'm kind of proud on aswell.
I learned a lot and have plans for the next chapter
It works on all devices but i restricted to ipad because of the conveniance to play it.
On phone it is to small, and on desktop it works nice but you will never get to level 3..
No concept thoughts, etc etc .. Just learning and being creative.
Cheers,
Tuur
Over a 100 views... But..
Nobody have an ipad?
Or nobody likes it?
Or do you get errors?
Have seen it before?
Don't you like the pano's?
I thought it was quit a creative idea, to write the game without graphics. And that you can win your 360 views.
But it seems not to be appreciated.
Fine with me.
I keep it for myself then.
Cheers
Tuur
I'd like to see what you've created, but I don't have an ipad,
Hi!
you can install safari for win and set devolop - user agent - iPad
and it's working
;)
Andrey
СУПЕР! I'l try it tomorrow)))
Fantastic! I got through to the second level on desktop Safari) ahahaha Nice game, Tuur!
Sorry guys, i was a bit grumpy... What else is new
Yeah, developper safari or so on desktop will do, but it is very easy to cheat.
For desktop and phones i have an other game/variation in mind (maths study).
Ofcourse pong is the first computergame, but for me it was my firts experience in the 70's.
Next to that old numeric Wang we had at home.
The game is childish and maybe also not perfect in reaction speed etc but actually i was supriced it works that well as it does. Some very interesting conclusions i made from the overall behaviour.
The graphics of the prices are ugly, yes i know, but i didn't wanted to put to much time in that. Actualy i made those before i decided to finish it and show it..
I had a lot of fun with the 'voice' of Stephan Hawkins.
Tip for ipad users. Slide on your fingernail a bit in combination with your finger'meat' for the touch..
Cheers,

lol...neat idea, Tuur, and well done Still a little buggy, but another great example of what is possible with krpano
Best regards
Nupsi
Thx Nupsi,
Can you more specific on the 'buggy'?
The only thing i experience is that sometimes it seems the ball goes through the racket. Luckily not that much..
Most of the time that is because you have been to late at the right position or just a bit to low or high.
But another reason could be that it needs to calculate quit some for every boun e and when it is at racket position it needs to check some..
I use random numbers as much as possible so for every side or x or y position there is every time a new random number, which are calculated at every point made or lose...
Tuur
Hi Tuur,
yeah exactly...sometimes the ball goes through the racket. And following the law of reflection, which states that the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection, the speed and angle of the ball often is incorrect. A better way than checking the balls position continously could be to pre-calculate the balls estimated time of impact at the goal-line (the line where the bracket is going up and down) and checking at that time if the racket is at the correct position or not. But I´ve never done anything like this, so those are just some thoughts And my math-knowledge is far from even being bad
Nupsi
Hi Nupsi,
Well the speed of the ball is always the same for every bounce, the 'set' time that belongs to the level. So a short bounce takes as long as a long one.
After 3bounces the ball is always at the same time at the racket. For example level one time is 0.8 so in level one the ball is always after 4x0.8 seconds at the baseline where it just chcks if the racket position is at the same area.
So your conclusion is wrong. What is right is that the speed of the ball is not consistent. For that you need other and much more calculations i think..
I'm not continueiously checkijg the ball position, because i do'nt need to.
For the angle of reflection... I just give the ball a x or y random number between a margin, so there is no reflection angle calculation.. That would also make it more easy i think. But i could try to do that ofcourse.
But as almost nobody likes it anyway...
I thought it was nice to check how the behaviour of just some containers could give us some fun..
Some people even think i made it for a serious reason, or for customers.. Hahaha
Tuur
Amazing! Cool!
Very nice idea and I can imagine the coding was not easy. Congrats.
Well at the end the coding is not that diffiuclt, after i invented the wheel again
I'm thinking now, and like to see what happens when i also make the bounce angles or reflections correct, and also make the speed consistent.. as Nupsi mentioned..
I'm sure with a few smart 'formulas i can get it...
good for brain practice ;)
Yes! I love that.
So your conclusion is wrong.
Somehow, I´m not surprised Like I said, math is´nt my strongest point
Oh...and don´t let you get down by the lack of feedback, Tuur! I love your try out-projects. Like the "inside the tub-pano", which I believe was yours too and still amazes me Unfortunately I never found it again in the forums...
Best regards
Nupsi
Thanks for the support Nupsi!
the bath tub pano is here. Flash only and heavy!!
