Pixel Bender / shader ?

Hello,

I'm discovering the Pixel Bender delivered with Flash v10.

I'm wondering if we can do something with it. I'm thinking about blurring the panorama for instance, but there should be many filters we can do with it.

Klaus, have you try to implement this shader ? (maybe it's already done ... ?)

Hi,

I'm planning to make an (plugin) interface to the panos "Sprite" object (as3),
then it would be possible to add any as3 filter

best regards,
Klaus

Great !

BTW, I've seen that Stage is "parent.parent.parent.parent.parent" (maybe one more, I don't remember)

When loading as plugin, where is the "pano" Sprite (if there is only one) ?

the "Stage" can be accessed direct from every object on it, just via "displayobject.stage"
see:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AS3LCR/Flash…ject.html#stage

Quoted

there is currently no "guaranteed" location of it on the stage, it can vary,
thats why an dedicated interface to it is planned

best regards,
Klaus
