smart phone gyro question

    Hi guys

    when i make my vtour panos for the iphone/ipad i get a noticeably more 'stepped' or juddering effect when panning, compared to finger swiping which is absolutely as smooth as a whistle.

    why is this, and can i adjust the gyro settings to be smoother?

    at the moment the gyro movement depends on how often the browser is firing the 'deviceorientation' event. On iOS it seems to fire with a ~30hz rate, while the rendering framerate itself is 60hz, so the movement it slightly not as smooth as it could be...

    I'm already planing a new gyro plugin with frame-interpolation and/or movement-prediction to get a smoother and browser independent gyro movement, but this might sill take a while.
