this does not happen on a normal html site.
Please help!
Tuur
Sorry, no idea what you mean... what is a normal html site and a not-normal one?
Btw - when there are basic security limitations from a browser, then there is typically no way to bypass them...
Best regards,
Klaus
Well when i go to my site and when i click a link it just opens, also when the popblock in IE is active.
An openurl action in krpano triggers the popup warning thing. When you allow it loads again the project.
Is there a way to make openurl just open the url and not let it be intrepeted as an popup?
Tuur
Hi,
it's a big difference for a browser to click on a link or to open an link automatically via Javavscript (openurl).
Btw - eventually try - openurl(url, _self); - to open the link in the current window. This will be typically not blocked.
Best regards,
Klaus
Mmm...
I was afraid so..
This is very bad ...
Any work arounds?
Tuur
Hi,
I have tested IE11 now and openurl is working fine, but it seems it is only allowed to be called from an onclick event (no ondown event or better said - no call without click!).
Best regards,
Klaus
So with the popblock active you do not get the pop up warning when you click the logo here? :

Btw in my test there is no behaviour difference between ondown and onclick in this case.
Tuur
Hi,
no, for me there is no pop-up warning when using onclick, only then using ondown,
here a demo (click on the krpano logo to open the google page) - with onclick:
https://krpano.com/krpano.html?pr…le.com,_blank);
and with ondown:
https://krpano.com/krpano.html?pr…le.com,_blank);
Best regards,
Klaus
Mmmm...
What could it be then?
I have onclick as well, as you can see here:
http://www.studiotuur.nl/IframeTest/1/tour.xml
I have html5 auto, which we need for this project.
You have prefer.
Could that be the difference?
Tuur
Hi,
sorry, but no idea...
When I try your example in IE11, it is not working for me too... but at the same time my own example, which does basically the same, is working fine in Flash... (and I have no whitelisting or anything else enabled in the IE11 settings).
Best regards,
Klaus
ok,
i tested some more and it seems that the html5 --> auto is the problem.
test2 = url without www. but
http://www.studiotuur.nl/IframeTest/2
test3 = html5 --> prefer which finally works ok.. but is not an option for my particular project.

Klaus
Could you please, to confirm, put another link with html5 --> auto ?
Tuur
Hi,
html5=auto means Flash in this case.
I have done more tests and the reason seems to be the wmode=opaque Flashplayer setting in your case.
When the Flashplayer will be embedded with wmode=opaque, then the Flashplayer will be not rendered directly to the screen - it will be rendered into an internal bitmap buffer and that buffer passed to the browser, where it will be mixed with the html content. And it seems that in this case the IE11 browser no longer is able to detect the relation of the clicking and popup opening as one unit and so doesn't allow that.
Please note that this is nothing about krpano and nothing that could be changed or fixed from krpano side. To get such popup open from Flash either use the default wmode mode or try reporting that problem to Microsoft or Adobe...
Best regards,
Klaus
Thanks very much for your effort Klaus!
I will have an other test.
It sounds like good news in this case ... I hope
Edit: yessssss
