Advice new lens

    I have a canon 1000d eos and im trying to buy some new lens to shot spherical panoramas. The two main questions i have are:

    1. Fisheye lens or wide angle lens would be better if i want to make the panorama in 6 shots (4x to cover the 360 degree view , 1x up ,1x down)

    2.What should i look for when i buy the lens ?

    i took a look at all 3 lens and yes canon lens are over my budget.
    I really dont like the fotos with rounded corners that a fisheye takes. Is that going to have an impact on how my spherical panorama will look?

    No. All mine are done with the canon. Nearly 100% of spherical photos are taken with a fisheye of some sort. All except for the spherical gigapixels. Anything higher than a 15mm fisheye is usually overkill unless it's about people.
