IE9 - Object doesn't support property or method 'call'

Hi,

I'm trying to use the krpano 'call' function in javascript.
I made a krpanoReady() function who initialize a krpano variable that contains the krpano object like in the in the js interface documentation:

Source code

1
krpano = document.getElementById("krpanoSWFObject");

After that I try tu use the krpano call function.

Source code

1
krpano.call("some_function()");

Everything works fine except in IE9<= I get an error message " Object doesn't support property or method 'call' "

I work with the 1.17.5 version of krpano and I first tried to use the onready callback, this did not seem to work with flash (the callback function doesn't start in IE).
I tried then to use the js() function to launch the krpanoReady() function on krpano startup :

Source code

1
<krpano ... onstart="js( krpanoReady() );">...</krpano>

Again everything works fine except in IE9.
When I debug the variable "krpano"

Source code

1
console.log(krpano);

In IE9, I get the <embed id="krpanoSWFObject" /> object but krpano.call(...) is always undefined...

Any ideas on how to make krpano.call() working ?

Hi,

this is a bug of the 1.17.5 embedding script, unfortunately a side effect of this bug fix:

Quoted

Fix: Do correct Flashplayer embedding even when the Firefox 'plugins.enumerable_names' setting is set to empty.
Use the 1.17.4 (or an older) embedding script for the moment.
The bug will be fixed in the next release.

Best regards,
Klaus
