How do you pause (not disable) autorotation?

How do you fire the autorotation pause event manually / programatically?

I know that I could simulate this by disabling autorotation and setting a timer to enable again but such a function could conflict with the existing autorotation pause timer fired by other events. Much better that all pausing be done using the same function.

One obvious use for this would be to pause autorotation when clicking the pano.

Hi!
you can simple set autorotation.speed=0
it will pause autorotation, to resume autorotation just set speed value back.

Hope it help

Hi Andrey,

Useful workaround.

I'm still hoping there is a way to engage the actual autorotate pause function. That would be more useful and offer fewer conflicts.
