Google plans to block Fullscreen and Gyroscope for non-HTTPS pages!

Hi,

a very important topic - Google plans to block the Fullscreen mode and the usage of the Gryoscope (device-motion-event) in Chrome when the webpage will be not served via HTTPS!

Please see here and express your opinions there:

Mannn... Sounds like april fools..

When this is gonna happen, does that mean that all we have done on http is gonna loose gyro and fullscreen in chrome?
That would be kind of disastrous i guess...
Also for clients i think.
Can you give specific folder https or is that a domain wide something?
Are there other caracteristics of https we should know ?

Only Google would know that.

does that mean that all we have done on http is gonna loose gyro and fullscreen in chrome?
When Google will do it that way, then yes.
