I have not tested Firefox or Chrome for a long time on my Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.4.2
However today I met some friends and had the possibility to test both a new HTC One
and an Galaxy S3.
To my surprice there is now fullscreen support in Firefox.
And even better the loading of large data is 3-4 times faster than the standard browser.
The testsite I am working on has a large initial load of xml because of more than 700 text popups and it takes currently 25 sec to load in the standard browser on my Note 2.
Firefox loads it in just 8 sec.
The Galaxy S3 took 45 sec with the standard but just 12 with Firefox.
Chrome does not work at all. Just a lot of scrambled pixels.
Also the HTC ONE M8 worked fine with Firefox but slow with the standard browser. There is just one stupid problem. The lower menu popups all the time when you touch screen.
