HTML5 video WebGL CORS issue for live streaming(Any Possible workaround?)

Hi,
We are currently integrating the live video onto KRPano player within our company. Everything seems to be fine other than the support to iOS.
The main issue is we have our player on our domain and the live feed comes from the akamai domain (akamai live streaming).
We do use akamai for transcoding so we have live stream setup with akamai which takes RTMP and outputs HLS/HDS.
We did saw some of the references to a known bug/issue with HTML5 over here http://krpano.com/ios/bugs/ios8-webgl-video-cors/.
But we wanted to check with KRPano team or anyone else if someone has any other workaround to fix this issue.
Any feedback or help will be greatly appreciated. Also will be happy to provide additional information if needed.

that can be only fixed by Apple itself.
