My new tour concept online

We are proud to show the first tour (Hotel Castle Gabelhofen) based on our new concept:
The concept development was minor a "technical show (what´s possible...)" but a thing of "how should things (infospots, text, detailpictures) work for none-computerfreaks.

it comes with:
* a new infomode concept: switching ("i") disappears/appears all spots, navigation, buttons (except nadir hotspot)
(designed for objects with much more spots than here)
--> better example for this is our Demotour St.Peters Church , Salzburg (scene 3).
* thumb-selector with bigger "onover" scene-preview (size depening on actual windowsize)
* variable textfield for scene-title and description
* info spots showing (mini-) content for "what info to get if i click"
* detailpictures to click (size depening on actual windowsize) - automatically assignet with text if text is in its
xml-place (see Demotour St.Peters Church , Salzburg (scene 3)
* map with syncronized blinking mapspots
* non-rotating nadir (distorted hotspot...)
* multilevel cubic panos (8000x4000 px each)

* little planet intro

feedbacks are very wellcome!
best regards from www.PanAustria.com

HI!
Interesting pop up previews (may be smaller size?)
At my 1920x1200 not the best performance (core2duo 7200 2GHz). That's why I don't use fullscreen by default.
And try radial gradient mask for radars. Create layer with radial gradient (black to transparency or white to transparency) >Copy to all layers>place every gradient to hotspot> delete non selected area with feather 1px(for smoothing edges) If you have any questions i can explain better.

Very nice tour. I like the preview of hotspots on the map and the effect of the text field from left down side.
Congratulation! You have made a very interactive tour.

Very nice pictures and a great tour concept. But I think the architectural view takes a bit of its brilliance. Panning vertically feels like back then when I was in the forest and found that funny mushrooms.

Thank you all for your advices!

In the meantime i went on further in this concept and did a huge job last year (170 panos, and it still continues...). I even won a competition with it; see the thread here !
Interesting pop up previews (may be smaller size?)

The pop up size depends on your actual windowsize; the bigger the
window, the bigger the preview - it is sth. i only could solve using
actionscript-code...
Of course i could code a smaller value for that percentage, but i think it´s OK (and - most important - my customers do) :-)

But I think the architectural view takes a bit of its brilliance
You definitifely are right, but it is a compromise i choose for best optical performance (NO wavey line) if the user has flashplayer10-plugin installed. Wavey lines is a "NO GO"! if there is a way off...
