How to show a Textfield

It's obvious that I'm a beginner.....

How do you get a textfield to show? I copied the example in the textfield documentation, put the layer in my xml file, and it doesn't show at all. What is the switch to turn it on?

Thanks.

Hi,

that depends WHERE you have defined it:

e.g. when defined inside a <scene> it should be shown when loading that scene,
but when defined outside or before a loadpano() or loadscene() call, then your element should have a keep="true" to avoid that it would get removed.

Best regards,
Klaus

Yes, that was it. Thank you.

I really appreciate your taking time to help a 64-year old beginner. Or any beginner.
I made the right choice when I bought krpano.

So much more to learn!
