Multiresolution Panorama Documentation

Hi, I have done a lot of "singleresolution" panoramas with Krpano and now I want to try a Multires.

But I can´t find documentation about this.
I believy that you need 4 images (for example) with diferent resolutions (20000 x 10000, 10000x5000, 5000x2500, 2500x1250 ... for example) and split each image in many small parts. This small pasts need to be in square format (500x500 for example)
My cuestions are:
- How can I split the big images in small ones ? In PS > File > Export > Zoomify ?
- What size must the small parts be?
- ¿Can You post a full example including the small archives to understand it? I can let you space in my hosting to alocate the files.

How do I start

I described how I use the sphere to cube tool. You can modify the code in the template to reproduce the XML exactly as you want it. It can at least be a start in the right direction.

I don´t knew what software must to bu used to create the titled images. I discovered krpanotools to do these work.
I´m working on it.

yes, the krpano tools are for making the tiles

try the kmakemultires tool
