Google Street View panoramas as Krpano Scenes

Hey! what about adding a Street view panorama as a scene in krpano?

here's some information that can be helpful

This way, google trusted photographers who upload their panos to Google Street view can use those panos hosted in google and build tours with them using krpano...

just thought it'd be really cool to have this feature... I don't know the technical and legal possibilities of this.

I don t think you could legally do that, it sounds like you could get the url of a video in youtube and just play it on your web with another player, avoiding apps, youtube logo...

On the techical side the cube strip system is different, and yes somehow you have the equirectangular which could be used with webgl but don t know about the sizes as is intended to be for old little mobile devices.

But yes it would be a nice cheap server for all of us

afaik

it already done by one of GTP, a little bit different user make tour on google street view and then click one button and get krpano custom tour with all arrows- hotspots, consellations to work with and implement additional content
