the current pre-release already had a 'quickish' support for the hotspots

, but now I'm working on a full and correct support: all events, correct event flow, all size, position and rotation properties, an internally precalculating and caching as many math operations as possible (for performance), two-sided rendering support while making sure it would still look correctly in fisheye rendering mode and many things more...
It's more work and more complex as it might seam

, that means making a quickish update for one specific case wouldn't be the right way.
But with the new pre-release (or already the final-release) the WebGL hotspot support should be fully working and also will be enabled by default for non-stereo rendering.
