360 videos panoramas are working with Android Chrome 45 ?
EDIT : In fact after a test, panovideosupport is now "false" on the mobile device (Android 4.1.2 + remove gpu from backlisting is enabled + webgl enabled). What can I check ?

Hi,
is WebGL really available?
What says device.webgl or when you visit a site like https://get.webgl.org/?
Or just have a look at 'chrome://gpu'.
Without WebGL support there is also no panoramic video support!
Btw - it's device specific if Chrome would support the GPU (or the current GPU drivers) for WebGL rendering. On my Android test devices Chrome 45 is still working fine with panoramic videos. That means when reporting problems, please report also which device.
Btw2 - when panovideosupport=false the example could fall back to displaying the video as flat 2d layer - see the 'videointerface' example for such.
Best regards,
Klaus
Yes WebGL is off since Chrome 45 Android
Device : LG G Optimus Pro Android 4.1.2. (LG-E988)
Yes I'm into the fallback mode with flat panorama.
I've also lost the WebVR which is not available due to WebGL issue.
I've reported the problem as chrome bug : https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=529174
Hi,
it's not directly a bug,
according due the Chrome change log it was the intention of the Chrome developer to remove WebGL support for all Android devices that don't have some special OpenGL properties (having gl_reset_notification_strategy=33362 or the EXT_robustness exceptions).
You can see the Chrome GPU blacklist here:
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/cod…t_json.cc&l=735
and here the change-log:
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+…ng_list_json.cc
these 3 patches are related to the problem:
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+…29f1527e4641d03
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+…dd3186a0375a4df
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+…afddef8cc5320db
Please try to discuss that problem directly with the Chrome developers.
Best regards,
Klaus
