Hide Hotspot In Webvr / Conflict With Lensflare

I hide special hotspots in webvr.
This is done with onentervr and onexitvr in the vtourskin.xml

If the lensflare plugin is active
set(hotspot[name].visible, false);
is not functioning.

If I deactivate the lensflare-plugin it works again.

There must be a conflict with the core.xml.
It is encrypted so I cannot check why.

Could you please come up with a solution.

Thanks...

Hi Piotr.

I don't want to hide the lensflare-hotpsots but normal hotspots in webvr.

Maybe I do not understand your code and how to implement it correctly.
But for me it seems that you should correct/adapt your general plugin-code,
when some normal function in the krpano-code is blocked by your plugin.

What do you think?

Thanks ...

Lensflare plugin does not affect with other elements krpano, it is obvious.

This code:

Source code

1
if(hotspot[name].tag != 'lensflare_tag_dynamic', _YOUR_CODE_);

separates the actions executed on other hotspots. I use this solution all the time and works great.

Thanks for your answer.
I think we can agree on disagreeing at that point ;-)

It is obvious to me that it does interfere with the standard krpano-xml, because
when I delete the plugin I can as usual hide hotspots in webvr.
If I do not exclude the lensflare the hiding does not work.

And if I understand your code correctly it adresses your special tagged lensflare hotspots and not the
other normal hotspots.
In this case I did not want to adress the lensflare hotspots but normals ones.
But I can't, because your plugins seems to block the usual code for hiding hotspots in webvr.

Maybe we are a little bit lost in translations here and maybe my xml-knowledge is far too bad
to get your point.

Could you please tell me exactly where I should put your code and what should be at the position "YOUR_CODE".
I want to hide the little image-icon in this tour in the 4th pano http://data.kuck.info/lagomera/tour.html

Words without sound are difficult ...so please don't get me wrong ...this is no offense at all ...
I am only desperate to solve this problem...my xml-knowledge is not good and I would like
to use your plugin in this tour because it enhances it a lot ...

cheers...
Christian

Hi Christian

Thank you for this post.
I can not access your site because "the reason for blocking is filter" *cry*

Maybe another link?

best regards

ufff ...this computer-shit is driving me crazy ...never heard of uBlock or any other user telling me that the tour is blocked ...
I have no other link to this tour.
I don't speak your language ...but it seems that you can stop the filter and allow the link.
https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/H…list-a-web-site

There is nothing special in this web-folder.
Only the krpano-files.
I don't understand why this should be blocked.

I appreciate your fast responses and efforts to solve problems.
Good service.
Thanks.

Hi.

It seems that I've made a mistake.
I rechecked the whole "hiding hotspots in webvr with lensflare active"-problem again.

Right now it works how it should.

Sorry for the confusion and thanks for offering your help.

cheers...
Christian

Hello,
as I'm developing a CMS driven krpano VR Player which adds Pano's dynamically I would need to specify Flare Settings within pano.xml of dynamically loaded Panorama - not centrally within one lensflare.xml File.
Is this possible?
thx

I'd have essentially the same question - would it be possible to load your lensflare plugin from a central location, and just set some parameters locally in pano.xml? Right now I can do this with the good old

Source code

1
<lensflare name="lf0"  ath="115.63"  atv="-49.63"  size="0.17" blind="0.1" blindcurve="3.00" set="DEFAULT" visible="true"  />
, but am looking to convert this to your plugin...

Hello

My plugin has nothing to do with the Klaus lensflare plugin syntax. Let me know if I understand well.

Would you like it to be possible to give a flare dynamically, right?

Yes, dynamically or at least where settings are specified in the xml from where your plugin is included...

Add a new lensflare (dynamicly).
  • name = name of the new lensflare.
  • lensflarestyle = select a lens flare style:

  2. blinkstyle2
  3. blinkstyle3
  4. blinkstyle4
  5. blinkstyle5
  6. blinkstyle6
  7. blinkstyle7
  8. blinkstyle8
  9. blinkstyle9
  • ath = horizontal lensflare position (-180 .. 180)
  • atv = vertical lensflare position (-90 .. +90)
  • dustmode = dust effect (true/false)

Just purchased Lensflare plugin but not working

THIS POST HAS BEEN DELETED BY THE AUTHOR

I did not specifically follow the VERY clear directions to use the "MAKE VTOUR (MULTI-RES) batch script" ... but instead used the MAKE PANO (MULTI-RES). As soon as I noticed Piotr's correction to me in an email, I tried to use the correct batch script and it worked perfectly.

AWESOME TECHNICAL SUPPORT!!!!

This post has been edited 1 times, last edit by "Luxviz" (Oct 21st 2017, 1:16pm) with the following reason: Hello Piotr, I carefully read the documentation which said "Use krpano batch to build your virtual tour (MAKE VTOUR (MULTIRES) droplet.bat)” ... but then I used the "MAKE PANO (MULTIRES) droplet" to create the pano! (I was thinking that since I had only one 360, it would be correct to use the MAKE PANO script.) I am VERY VERY SORRY that I didn’t see you specifically said VTOUR and try that - which I just now did, and which - as I’m sure you know - worked flawlessly!!!! Thank you so much for your fast reply and assistance!!! Rick
