How can I record the hotspot position after the user click in one button?

I've been trying to make a player with new functions to Krpano. One of the function is a possibility to the users tag themselves. I saw a long time ago one plugin Call "PanoTag". However, it not available anymore.
I'm trying to do it but not exactly a hotspot it's a kind of "Tag" to the users who found themselves. Just to be more specific, I want to create a button on HTML and then record the position. What is the best way to do that?
