4K 360 video

Hi,

In html5/desktop webgl, chrome can display 4K 360 video
In firefox, I have just a black screen. (v42 x64)

I'm not sure but it seems there is some krpano engine under the hood ?

How can I display 4K 360 in Firefox ?
Does it come from firefox, its supported codecs, etc ?

Hi,

when 4k video is not possible, then it's not krpano related - it's browser or system related!

E.g. on my system I can play the 4k video in Firefox.

Firefox might not be able to decode or upload (to webgl) the 4k mp4 for some reason...
Try using .webm instead, in my tests 4k .webm videos are also performing better in Firefox.

Best regards,
Klaus

ok, it works in both chrome and firefox with 3840/2 webm.
Anyway, if datarate is too high, firefox pause every few seconds (chrome works great).
