Video Player plugin not working

I am trying to embed a 3D video into a pano viewer but I'm getting an error message saying 'unexpected token <' within the videoplayer.js file...The biggest issue for me is that the EXACT same plugin works fine in the demo material with no issues (i've literally copied and pasted the demo version videoplayer.js) It's the 1.18.5 version im using. I've been going crazy trying to fix this!!. Please help!
