Bluetooth controller with WebVR?

Has anyone tried controlling a WebVR tour using a simple Bluetooth controller? (One example)

As I start demonstrating WebVR with Cardboard people find it difficult to interact with the default interface at first. If they had a simple controller for: left = previous scene, right = next, up = show menu, down = hide menu, click = click, I think they could get comfortable much quicker.

Thoughts? Experiences?
