best render settings

Hi I have narrowed down my problem to the video render..So I am wondering if anyone know the correct render settings for the video in IOS
The video is top/bottom and currently 2160 by 2160. Using adobe premiere to make mp4 and .webm. Not sure if I have to make video 1920 by 1080 or if I can leave it at 2160 by 2160. This plays fine on a desktop, just not on an ipad.

Look here http://krpano.com/plugins/videoplayer/#h…nownbrowserbugs

The problem is not in the render settings. The problem in a number of pixels.
We waiting when Apple Fixe this bug. Probably have to wait a long time.

I don't think that that is it. I have tried other videos in there and they play fine. The main difference is:
It is side by side (mine is top/bottom) and 1920 by 1080 and mine is 2160 by 2160

maybe I did not understand. What you mean "play not fine"? Slowly?
And i think 2160x2160 is not correct aspect ratio for panoramic video. Aspect ratio must be 2:1, like 1920x960.

Different iOS devices have a different max. video resolution support in Safari (even when the device it would support higher res videos). I'm not fully sure yet, but 1920x1080 might be the max for iOS.

The video aspect itself doesn't matter for panoramic videos, the fov-coverage can be anytime set manually by the image hfov/vfov settings.

So I am getting this error: SecurityError: DOM Exception 18 on my new ipad. I tried my videos and the krpano video of the buildings and I continue to get the error message. I can hear the video just not see it. So...I am thinking that there is something wrong in the coding as it does not matter which video I put in there.

That sound like you're trying loading videos from other domains?

That doesn't work in iOS due iOS bugs - see:
