looktohotspot possible in webvr?

The looktohotspot works great on desktop, but cannot get it to work on webvr. Is it possible? I'm using:

looktohotspot(hotspot3, 25, smooth(100,50,20));

Thanks for your input. I thought it was more like the like the littlebigplanet intro, which I thought is possible in webvr, no? And this is a bit like how I'm trying to use it, like an intro to a scene to take a user to their intended start location while providing some bearing on the scene.

I essentially want to turn set(control.usercontrol, off); during initial load, then turn on, onloadcomplete

And is little big planet possible for entering a new scene? Or only available on initial load?
